“Human rights after the Holocaust: what have we learned?”

On 25 February, two Holocaust survivors, Henry and Ingrid Wuga, will participate in a question and answer session at Glasgow University. The session will be followed by a panel discussion with leading academics and practitioners in human rights and international law.

 

The Holocaust Educational Trust hope to reflect on the contemporary relevance of the Holocaust, particularly in the context of human rights issues today – such as the refugee crisis, hate crime and genocide.

 

The panel will consist of:

Ms Amal Azzudin (Glasgow Girl)

Ms Carol Ewart (Scottish Human Rights Consortium)

Professor Ray Stokes (University of Glasgow)

Mr Andrew Sirel (Legal Services Agency, University of Glasgow)
